Tell a joke Tuesday

I thought these were funny, hope they make you laugh!

One day, a man came home and was greeted by his wife dressed in a very Sexy nightie. 'Tie me up,' she purred, 'and you can do anything you want.' So he tied her up and went golfing.

A woman came home, screeching her car into the driveway, and ran into the house. She slammed the door and shouted at the top of her lungs, 'Honey, pack your bags. I won the lottery!' The husband said, 'Oh my God! What should I pack, beach stuff or mountain stuff?' 'Doesn't matter,' she said. 'Just get out.'

HAHAHAHA!!! There you go, your jokes for the week!

SWIMEEY

Well we now have a new edition to our family....and no i am not talking about a new baby or that i am pregnant. See for yourself:
His name is Swimeey. Titus' grandma Betty got him for Titus and he has been attached since the day we brought him home. It's really cute, he will carry him around and hug him, kiss him, chew on him, etc. I love watching him.
Yesterday we went to Warrenton for the afternoon to see jarrells side of the family, it was grandma Esthers birthday on friday and we wanted to see her and tell her happy birthday. It was a lot of fun and it is always nice seeing them and visiting. Titus loves running around Grandma Esthers new house, its a lot bigger than ours and of course its something different so he loves to explore. When we went to leave Jarrell said "Lets go home Titus and see swimeey", and Titus acted like he knew what we were talking about, then when we got home he ran and got swimeey and hugged on him.
Well i hope everyone is having a great start to the week and Lord willing i will blog again tomorrow with more fun happening in the Smith family! Take care!

Busy but great day!

Well today was grocery day. Every thursday when titus wakes up which is usually around 7:30am or so, i get him dressed and put him in his high chair, while he is eating breakfast i get ready and then we head off to walmart to get groceries.

We stopped by the bank on the way, the bank of used to work at, i worked there the whole time i was pregnant with titus so he is kinda like "the bank baby" we get there and one of the girls takes him and whisks him off to see everyone else, he walks around the whole bank with them to see everyone. Its real neat, i guess they kinda feel a connection with him because they shared all my pregnancy with me. Today i didnt have to get much because we still had some food leftover from last week and i didnt end up cooking a few nights.

Titus was very good at Walmart, then on the way home i stopped by mcdonalds to get an iced mocha latte', Titus was asleep by the time we pulled into the garage.

When he got up from his morning nap i fed him lunch quick and we were off again, this time to Quincy to get Titus' Hep B shot. If you are a regular reader of my blog you know that i have decided to refrain from getting some vaccinations for Titus and the other i am spreading out. If you are not a regular, read this . Titus was so brave, he only cried for a second and when i picked him up he was fine. He grinned at the nurse and kept looking down at his snoppy band aid like "what just happened here". Lol.

Then we went to the mall, i got some good excercise pushing titus up and down the aisles, my main stop was victoria secret, i love that store(a little too much sometimes). Then we headed home in which Titus again was asleep by the time we took the exit for our house.

Jarrell got home from work a little bit ago and we got to sit and talk a while which was nice, Titus is still napping, and now i am going to put away groceries and straighten the house up a little.

Great day!

Folded Napkin

Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection?

I never noticed this....

The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes.
The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded, and was placed separate from the grave clothes. Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.
She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, 'They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I don't know where they have put him!'
Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see. The other disciple outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in.
Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying to the side.

Was that important? Absolutely! Is it really significant? Yes!

In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition. When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was exactly the way the master wanted it. The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished.
Now if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss it onto the table. The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, 'I'm done'.
But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table,because..........

The folded napkin meant, 'I'm coming back!'

golfing, spinning in circles, and family

Hey there everyone, well i just realized last wednesday was the last time i blogged, i need to get with it. I have thought about it several times since then but just couldnt get the time to sit down and blog. I only get the computer once a day, and sometimes that time is used for other things, facebooking, looking up different childrens things, reading other blogs, etc. But i hope to be better at it. Today has been a good day. Today Titus learned how to spin around in a circle, i think it may have something to do with his dad making him spin the other night when titus wanted the golf club he had in his hand and keeps chasing it so Jarrell started spinning it and titus would follow it:

It was quite hilarious and we were all laughing, and of course i had to run and get my camera and video it too. He is at such a cute age and i was just thinking today when i took his hand and said " come on lets go get your milk and then go night night" and he grabbed my hand and walked with me to the kitchen, that i just want to enjoy every minute of this and remember it. Its very nice that i can have 4 days a week off to spend with my family, of course i also have the evenings mon-wed, and we also love to have kylie and austin here. Well speaking of austin he just woke up from his nap and i better get him before he wakes the other 2 who are sleeping peacefully. Oh by the way, check out my link on the left sidebar of my blog for these really great shoes i found for kids, they are kinda like the shoes Robeez, they are called Bobux, if you order them through clicking on the link on my blog you can get free shipping too!

Kaylin came to visit

today i have my 2 babysitting kids and also i am watching a little girl named kaylin for a few hours. Back in August of 08 when i was running the daycare with my friend megan, kaylin was one of our children and then when we closed i decided to take kaylin, kylie, and then eventually i got austin when he was born because he is kylie's brother of course. Well then Kaylin's grandma offered to watch her so she stopped coming but every once in a while i get to watch her because her grandma has something, its nice to get to see her, she is now 10 months and already walking! It is now morning naptime for kylie and titus and kaylin, austin and i are hanging out here in the office, austin is in the excersaucer and kaylin is playing with toys on the floor. Jarrell is working nights mon-thurs this week so he is in bed as well. Pretty sober here today, just catching up on my blogging and facebooking while i can. Tonight Titus and i will go to church, Tyler, our God son is going with us. Well hope everyone has a good wednesday and will talk to you later!
