oh the joy of ear infections and colds

You know one thing i never thought of when i thought of becoming a mommy was how hard it would be to take care of a sick child. Its not fun! But i remember being sick when i was younger and my mom being at my beck and call(seriously untill i was like 18) and she probably would still do the same thing if i lived with her still. Thats just what you do when you are a mom. I never realized till i had my own how hard it can be. Especially when they are young and cant tell you what hurts. Monday we found out that Titus has a double ear infection, this is the 4th one he has had since birth. But we went 3 and a half months completely well so we praise God for that. Also we caught this one early enough so he is not miserable and he got antibiotics and seems to be doing a lot better. Today we were all 3 home, jarrell, titus and i. Titus had me up at the bright and early hour of 6:30am, which of course was good for him because he got about 10 hours of sleep, me on the other hand? Well being that i decided to stay up and watch a movie with jarrell last night, i was really feeling it this morning. Anyway, we have been playing all day and i finally got him dressed around noon or so but i am still in my pajamas. Tonight one of our friends from churches daughter is coming to spend the night with us. Jarrell had to work tonight so she will be here with titus and i. It should be a lot of fun, they always babysit titus for us when we need them and i just love having abbey(their daughter) here, she is a lot of help and titus loves playing with her. Also my friend brittney will probably come over to hang out for a lil bit too. Her husband works at night till around 10pm and she has a 3 month old baby girl, we try to get together a lot of hang out, i really enjoy and appreciate her friendship. Its great to have christian friends to confide in and a lean on. Well better get off here. Have a good weekend everyone and will write again soon!
